  • THE STORY BEHIND ROLAND PINE: You might wonder how the name Roland Pine evolved. Elizabeth Grubaugh, our designer lived up in Tuxedo Park, NY and was inspired by the lush forests of Harriman State Park on the drive to our studio in Garnerville, NY. This caused her to draw the pinecone you see on our Roland Pine packaging. The fragrance was born and matched to the pattern, and we decided we wanted to pay homage to our Rockland County roots, and named our pine Roland after a member of the Harriman family, Roland Harriman. Seemed fitting, and the rest is history!

Finally Back in Stock

We love the Roland Pine lotion, but probably wont purchase this again. It seems the tube has gotten smaller, and the price has increased. $12 for a one ounce container seems pricey! We will continue to buy other Roland Pine products!

Hello Kimberly! Thank you for reviewing our Hand Cream! I wanted to reach out personally, as owner of Soap & Paper Factory and let you know that the hand cream has always been 1 ounce. I want to assure you that the size of the cream is the same. As far as raising the price, it was something we had to do. Our prices of EVERYTHING have gone up from shipping, to manufacturing, even raw materials. We didn't want to change the formula and make it cheaper by cutting corners. I just wanted to explain it to you, from a company that has not raised prices in a long time, we don't take it lightly.
