FRAGRANCE: Roland Pine is not your ordinary pine! This fragrance is calming, with notes of glorious Fir needle, and fresh pine, you have to smell it to believe it. Of course, Roland Pine is a must for holiday, but is a fresh and invigorating year-round fragrance.

ABOUT OUR CANDLES: We use cotton wicks and pure soy wax to make our candles because of their clean burning qualities. Every batch of candles is tested for wick optimization, cool and hot fragrance throw & burn times. We make our candles in small batches, and the craftsmanship and quality are unsurpassed.
BEST PRACTICES: When you burn your soy candle for the first time, it is important to burn for about 4 hours. That is how much time it will take for the wax to melt and pool all the way to the edge of the glass. Blow out your candle. Before burning again, allow wax to cool. Before lighting, trim the wick to about 1/4" before lighting to ensure even burning. The reason you trim the wick is so that the flame won’t be too high or hot, and your candle will burn slower, giving you many hours of burn time. If the wick is too tall and hot, your wax will melt very fast and is prone to tunnel. Always burn candles for 3-4 hours at a time for best results. Light and burn on a level surface and allow wax to burn and pool before extinguishing. Do not leave candle lit and unattended.

THE STORY BEHIND ROLAND PINE: You might wonder how the name Roland Pine evolved. Elizabeth Grubaugh, our designer lived up in Tuxedo Park, NY and was inspired by the lush forests of Harriman State Park on the drive to our studio in Garnerville, NY. This caused her to draw the pinecone you see on our Roland Pine packaging. The fragrance was born and matched to the pattern, and we decided we wanted to pay homage to our Rockland County roots, and named our pine Roland after a member of the Harriman family, Roland Harriman. Seemed fitting, and the rest is history!

I stumbled on this shop in the Bryant Park Holiday market. There was a crow of people surrounding the shop, so many that I could barely get to the front! Everyone was loving these beautiful candles and their amazing pine scent. The green class candles stood out, and I purchased 2. When I brought them home, I loved them so much that I purchased a bunch more online to give as gifts this holiday season. My new favorite candle - and the perfect special gift.

WOW.. I mean really?

This freaking candle... I mean wow. Roland Pine, can it get any better than this? NO! This freaking candle is amazing, you can't get it anywhere else besides a mountain like I did. And I came home to a delicious piece of coffee cake and lit this thing and wow. I almost set my house on fire. I just kept lighting it. Please you guys... this thing is awesome. And not just because I love fire. :D

Holiday gifts

I bought it as a gift for a friend. I love the Paper Factory pine scent. It is so natural, not like some pine scents that are unnatural and overwhelming.
